Dear partners,

Plastics-Ukraine is the Business Eagle

In September 2017, Tarnow (Poland), the Business Eagles were named on the first opening day of the Second Polish Economic Forum. Plastics-Ukraine was awarded the main prize in the “Company” category as the best company among the Worldwide Polish Diaspora.

This prestigious award for “economic patriotism” is awarded to successful, socially oriented companies and individuals who are able to preserve their values and national identity, while respecting the culture of the country where they live and develop.

This forum was held for the first time in 2016 by Tarnow City Government together with the Polish-American Business Centre Pegaz. During these days, Polish entrepreneurs, representatives of the chambers of commerce, trade unions, and associations from all over the world meet on one territory. The main purpose is the integration and internationalization of the Polish business environment, which combines, in addition to the economic component, cultural heritage, history, and traditions of the native country.

The award in the form of an Eagle is not accidental. As it is known, the White Eagle is depicted on the emblem of the Polish state. According to the legends the white eagle was noticed by Lech – the ancestor of the Polish people. In this place, a city Gniezno (nest) was founded. Poland’s emblem is considered to be one of the oldest among the existing state emblems in the world.
